The mission of the Wrentham Public Schools, in partnership with families and the community, is to establish a safe, supportive, and structured environment in which our students can achieve individual success. To assist our students in becoming reflective, life-long learners, the Wrentham Public Schools will provide multi-faceted learning experiences through highly effective, consistent teaching practices and curriculum, Opportunities will be provided for students to make connections between their actions and the world around them.

In our Kindergarten, we are committed to each child's education. First and foremost we recognize children are individuals who grow and develop at different rates. We embrace these differences by providing experiences that will stimulate social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Children learn at their own pace as they explore their surroundings through hands-on activities that challenge their thinking. We provide a classroom environment which promotes creativity where each and every child feels safe, secure, and important.

All I Really Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten

by Robert Fulghum

Most of what I really need

To know about how to live

And what to do and how to be

I learned in kindergarten.

Wisdom was not at the top

Of the graduate school mountain,

But there in the sandpile at Sunday school.

These are the things I learned:

Share everything.

Play fair.

Don't hit people.

Put things back where you found them.

Clean up your own mess.

Don't take things that aren't yours.

Say you're sorry when you hurt somebody.

Wash your hands before you eat.

Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you.

Live a balanced life -

Learn some and think some

And draw and paint and sing and dance

And play and work everyday some.

Take a nap every afternoon.

When you go out into the world,

Watch out for traffic,

Hold hands and stick together.

Be aware of wonder.
