Welcome to the Delaney School page of the Wrentham Public Schools' website.
It is with pride and honor that I serve the children in the Delaney School, a Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 3 learning environment, which is part of the greater Wrentham community.
All actions at Delaney are linked to our five Core Values: Respect, Responsibility, Communication, and Collaboration and Continuous Growth and Learning. These core values are seamlessly integrated into all academic and social learning environments throughout each day.
The extraordinarily talented and experienced teachers and support personnel commit to, and engage students in a stimulating, challenging, and nurturing environment that respects and accommodates learning styles based on curriculums that are aligned with Massachusetts Common Core State Standards. We work toward meeting the needs of the whole child with the goal of having them become efficacious members of society. Students are encouraged to be responsible for their learning and social decisions. Children are explicitly taught social competencies through formal lessons that focus on interpersonal and intrapersonal skills.
We have an active school community with outstanding parents, volunteers, and organizations such as the Parent Teacher Organization, School Council and Wrentham Elementary Schools Trust which make the Delaney School an exceptional place.
As our Mission Statement reflects, we make an effort to create a working relationship between the school, families, and the community.
Thank you for visiting the Delaney School Principal page.
